Bowling Beauties Blog PT. 2 - By Kristal/ Bowling Beauty

My Bowling Beauties experience was definitely badass! From the very beginning when I went to the casting, I started getting so excited about the upcoming show. My boyfriend and I went bowling several times in preparation of the big event. Unfortunately, I kept sucking more and more each time we went - so I finally just threw in the towel! My biggest concern was having too many distractions while bowling. I knew we were going to be wearing heels, and considering I usually only wear flip-flops or sneakers, I started panicking a little bit! SO...luckily for my boyfriend...I started prancing around the apartment in high heels and lingerie to really get a "feel" for what my experience was going to be like. Again, my whole reasoning in doing this was to minimize any distractions, and in NO WAY a secret ploy to seduce my man. (Ha-ha, yeah right)

The day of the tournament was so much fun. I thought all the girls were going to be bitches and camera whores, but they ended up being amazing! 16 beautiful women (inside and out) all just hanging out and bowling - it was a blast! My whole goal of the day was to bowl my lil ass off and win the 5k prize and trophy - and I wasn't about to let caked on makeup, a skimpy bikini, high heels, or poofy hair get in my way! I totally would have rocked a bandana like I usually do, but I don't think the crew would have gone for it! Ha-ha As soon as the pins started falling and the cameras started rolling, I got SO nervous! I've never been apart of such a big production, and I was definitely in awe by everything. I spent a lot of time just checking out the crew and observing the role each member played. I know, I'm a dork - a bunch of hot chicks half naked in a bowling alley and I'm sitting there wondering where the power source for all of the camera and lighting equipment was coming from - what the fuck?! Ha-ha I’m not a shy person at all, but when I'm around large groups of people, I start to keep to myself a bit and am a wallflower. I'm real chill and laid back, so it was great just watching all the excitement going on around me (instead of taking part in it). During the "down" time, I met some really great girls and got to know them better - such sweethearts! Behind the scenes all the girls would just sit around, try to warm up (the bowling alley was freezing!), snack, and talk. Overall, my experience was amazing, and Howard Stern's Bowling Beauties kicks ass! Such a great tournament and a great group of people involved in it. So many DIFFERENT girls from all different backgrounds, coming together for one common goal - look smokin hot and throw some balls. What more could you ask for?
