The show is comprised of exclusive, never-before-seen original clips, footage and interviews involving the core radio show personalities as well as the supporting staff of characters from the show. The Howard TV cameras are constantly rolling and capturing the priceless moments, the mayhem and absurdity that unfolds on a daily basis, but for one reason or another has never made air.

On this week’s episode of The Bonus Show, Benjy goes on record with a highly controversial statement. And I admire it. It takes great character and strength to make profound sweeping generalizations and then blindly stand behind them. According to him, “every woman in the world is sexually attracted to John Stamos”. I want to disagree, but I’m having trouble. John’s hot. I’m not sure he’s hotter than Brad Pitt or George Clooney, as Benjy attests, but he’s 100% hot. 112% hot. And I’d be surprised to meet a chick who disagrees on this one. Benjy, congratulations. You’re essentially an authority on hot men.
We “Blast from the Past” this week and watch MC Hammer & Emmanuel “Webster” Lewis describe the absolute necessity of bringing a “Howard Towel” with you if you ever get to go on the show. When I ponder what a “Howard Towel” could possibly be, my brain is literally overwhelmed with the million moments in the studio that could potentially benefit from/absolutely require the presence of a towel and/or a hot mop. Watch this week to find out exactly how Hammer intends to use his.
Also intriguing this week, Gary calls Sal a pedophile. Wait wait wait- not “a pedophile”…”LIKE a pedophile”. I’ll leave it up to you to distinguish the difference. I found them remarkably similar, as did Sal.
And there’s even more Bonus Show! Richard Christy (with pants STILL on!!!) shares a drunken Beetlejuice tale, we go behind the scenes at Beth O’s book signing, and FOR ONCE the focus is on Sal’s knockers instead of mine! In a true “Sal Gone Wild” moment, he unleashes his flabby tits in the middle of a Stern Show Creative Meeting. Aren’t you so glad we have this footage?!
Enjoy!

I’d like to thank the Academy.

If you’ve ever wanted to smack Jon Hein in the face, I think you will genuinely love this episode. Mostly because (SPOILER ALERT!) he’s going to get smacked, it’s going to be in the face and it’s going to be by me. I won’t tell you why, although I think we can all agree he says a plethora of smack worthy things to me on a weekly basis, so Mr. Hein- and his face- have it coming. Jon, my Telly Award Winning friend, I love to hate you & I hate to love you (slight emphasis on hate).
We go inside the world of celebrity appearances this week with a clip of the one & only Beetlejuice at an autograph signing. Who HASN’T thought about going to meet The Purple Hammer in person?! Well, apparently we’ve all only THOUGHT about it, because no one showed up for poor Beet. I tend to be a silver lining type person (sort of like the sterling silver exterior on a Telly statuette), so it’s nice that Beet got a chance to brush up on his darts game at the empty bar. It’s particularly nice that we’ve got footage.
I’m not an Amish model. I’ve settled for being a simple Telly Award Winning Television Host. But if I were an Amish model, I think I would probably refuse to let Sal test my pop culture knowledge because I’d have the self-awareness to recognize that I would look like a complete moron (Not MORMAN, Moron...don't worry, common mistake).
Luckily, the Amish model on this episode of The Bonus Show was more than willing to take her best guess at things like the source of the infamous “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!” movie quote. Sadly, it wasn’t Sarah Jessica Parker's line. You were THISCLOSE, hot Amish model!! In fairness though, I can’t churn butter for shit. If Parkay, Country Crock and Land O’Lakes all go out of business, it looks like you’ll have the last glorious laugh.
Also glorious-laugh worthy this week- Bababooey’s Mail Bag is Back, Richard pontificates on the splendid smell of his sweaty balls and the guys on the Wrap Up Show get yelled at mercilessly by our loving and supportive fan base. All this and more on the TELLY AWARD WINNING BONUS SHOW!!!!!
Enjoy!
Rachel “Telly Award Winner” Fine
PS- In case you missed my subtle references, The Bonus Show won a Telly for comedy series. Jon, myself, and the third & fourth cast members (aka my knockers) couldn't be happier
Quit while you’re ahead.

So, did you figure out who the guest star in the Gary mask was on last week’s episode of The Bonus Show??? Drumroll please…. It was none other than Sal “The Stockbroker” Governale! Prepare for yet ANOTHER guest appearance in this week’s episode! And I’m not even counting Techno Beaver! Yes, Gary returns to review more technology he can’t really hold on to with those ridiculously awesome beaver mitts. Oh, and get ready to see firsthand that Ronnie is so horny he’ll even do a beaver. Just wait, it’ll make sense…aaaand it will be unbelievably disturbing.
There’s nothing more enthralling than watching Beetlejuice & Dominic the Midget interact in the greenroom, the way they do on this episode of The Bonus Show. Ok, wait, I can think of one thing more enthralling, also featured this week: watching Gary the Retard explain what body parts Robin has…that a Trannie doesn’t. Seriously, I should end the blog right here. Eff it, I can’t top that.
Enjoy!

Christy’s clothed?

Why hello, Bonus Show fans! In what HAS to be a Bonus Show record, we go a second week without seeing Richard Christy naked. What’s weirder is, I’m starting to jones for it like Jeff Levy joneses for an NYU student to heave on him after a night of binge drinking on the lower east side. I swear to god, I walk around the office and secretly hope to bump into Richard nude. And here I was telling him to put pants on in last week’s blog. I’ve learned a valuable lesson here. You giveth, Bonus Show, and you taketh away.
What do Brian Phelan and the Columbian Cartel have in common? Besides a somewhat intimidating presence and incessant sweating, they have a smidge of a drug history. On this episode of The Bonus Show, Brian recounts the harrowing tale of his marijuana bust. With terrorists leaving car bombs around the city, I am thankful that the NYPD has dedicated resources to busting Phelan with a joint. I feel safer already.
BaBaBooey’s Mail Bag is back this week! I love when Gary’s on The Bonus Show. In or out of the beaver costume. Come to think of it, I’m not sure which I prefer and I feel compelled to nail down a concrete answer. What say you? Do you like Gary more as regular button down shirt wearing producer Gary or Gary the Techno Beaver? I need to know. For science.
There can’t be more, can there?! Yes. There can and there is. Like Fred inspecting the bathroom for rogue pubes, Scott DePace whining that he’s not praised enough, and Pete doing Ronnie (impressions! But YOU’RE WELCOME for that visual).
Enjoy!
Rachel
Ps- special guest cameo this episode…good times
